The Type 591 Ventilation Valves from Georg Fischer are exceptionally reliable. The Type 591 Ventilation Valve will remain open while a vessel or pipe is filling, allowing air to escape, closing when the internal float is lifted by the rising liquid. When a vessel or pipe is draining, the vacuum created allows the float to drop, allowing air to flow back in.
An innovative PP-H (PVDF) float on the air and venting valve type 591 has a very low density of 0.91 g/cm³ and ensures complete and reliable venting of the pipe system. At the same time, the valve prevents media overflow.
