The Type 595 Vacuum Breaker Valves from Georg Fischer are exceptionally reliable. The Type 595 Vacuum Breaker Valve will remain closed while a vessel or pipe is filling and while operating. The cone is pressed continually into the profile seal by the spring and opens when there is a vacuum in the pipe or vessel. The 595 valve allows the required volume of air to flow into the vessel, thus equalizing the pressure and preventing a vacuum and associated damage from occurring. Subsequently the valve closes again by spring force.
